3 Day Jewish Wedding at Euridge Manor, Wiltshire

It is nearly a year since the amazing wedding of Imogen and Joshua at Euridge Manor so what better time to share some images and details about this spectacular Jewish celebration over 3 days at the stunning Euridge Manor in Wiltshire.

We had a 4 day build before the big day working with JB Marquees to build the large marquee. The logistics alone on this was a full-time job with carefully timed vehicle access as well as potential weather elements to contend with.

Marquee Design Brief

As a creative wedding planner, one of the key roles is to get inside your client’s mind. Extracting and evolving their ideas and vision. Bringing to life their thoughts and inspiration. I wanted to create something that had never been created before with the guest experience being fundamental area to focus on. We wanted each and every guest to feel, smell and touch and submerse into an experience and world they would remember for ever.

The brief and inspiration were taken from The Secret Garden, a classic English children’s novel. Mary, an orphan girl, moves to her uncle's isolated house. Soon, she discovers a hidden fantasy world in the estate's garden.

We had the perfect location at Euridge Manor, the gardens and outdoor spaces filled with rambling flowers and foliage, hidden gardens and beautiful stonework.

So, how did we create this space that we could all envisage in a large big framed tent?

marquee lighting and production design

Any space, lighting will completely transform any space and just knew was key to curating the secret garden and enchanted forest.

Working with Bluesky Flowers, we created a huge canopy of foliage across the full ceiling of the marquee. The marquee was blacked out with lining and a starlight lining for the ceiling. Through the canopy, Luminaire Events used different lighting techniques from spot lights to gobo lighting alongside a low mist to create that beam of sunshine coming through the foliage canopy.

Within the marquee we had trees from Twilight Trees to create the feel of a forest with a large Grande tree creating a centrepiece for the bar which was lit up with fairy lights.

To create the magical and romantic feel, the candles were in an abundance on the tables where Bluesky Flowers created a garden of trees, moss, beautiful flowers amongst copies of The Secret Garden books. This was a little subtle nod to what the overall design was based around. The linens from Just 4 Linen were from their urbane range so it created that natural textured feel working with the greens and jewel tones on the table settings. To complete the overall look, we worked with Duchess and Butler with their gorgeous Valentina charger plates and coloured vintage tumblers.

Wedding Guest Experience at Euridge Manor

On an autumn day in mid-October, we wanted guests to fully immerse themselves into the venue and have the opportunity to explore the surroundings. It was important that we made use of all the spaces and the guests had a fabulous journey along the way. Every corner they turned, they were astounded and taken back by the experience.

The welcome started in the Orangery with warm, winter Pimm’s and champagne before guests walked through the gardens to the most spectacular view of the Boat House for the ceremony. All the details had been thought of from the personalised tissues to the embroidered blankets. Sensation Band were…well, sensational for the ceremony! I would have to say, one of the most moving ceremonies I have ever witnessed. The Rabbi moved me to tears, it was such a lovely ceremony. I even get Goosebumps thinking about it now.

After the ceremony, guests made their way back through the pretty gardens to the Ballroom for a champagne reception. Jason Milan and his team had created stunning backdrop of fabulous food from a Sushi Station to a Falafel feast!

Guests then were ready to take their seats for the next stage of the celebration. This part was truly one of my best memories. Seeing how guests reacted and hearing them gasp as not one of them were expecting to see or feel what was to come next…

A Secret Garden Wedding in a Marquee

As guests entered the marquee, a stunning floral arch rambled from the front wall, through the tunnel into the marquee. All the ruins on the walls were lit up and a low haze welcomed them. With bird noises tweeting in the background, light beaming through the canopy, guests walked into the secret garden.

We had ALR Music on board with DJ Charles and The Arts Club House band starting with a violinist greeting guests and DJ Charles working with the performers from acrobats to ballet dancers. If you head over to my Instagram, you’ll see some of them in action on my reels.

This is one of the events that I wish I could just capture in a jar – it was truly sensational!

This is just a small selection of images from Beccy Goddard who captured the day perfectly.

Post Wedding Party at Euridge Manor

Well, we couldn’t stop celebrating there could we? The post wedding party was one hell of a party! With a festival themed day we loved working with Hire Love who completely transformed the Ballroom. With only a couple of hours to create the festival party space, we also had food vendors from tacos, pizza to Japanese treats on the courtyard.

Throughout the day, there were face painters, magicians, fresh cookies, fire dancers, stilt walkers, show girls and a full lollipop acrobatic show!

It was such a great way to end the celebrations with every one leaving on a high with some crazy, happy and amazing memories.

Without the full team of amazing suppliers, none of this could have happened and with only 13 weeks to fully plan this 2-day event, I have to thank each and every one of you for pulling out the stops and helping me curate and produce such a spectacular weekend at Euridge Manor. Alice and the team at Euridge were the best and I cannot wait to be back at Euridge a couple of times next year – keep your eyes peeled for what we have up our sleeves!
