Summer Bridal Event in Surrey

In June, I was lucky enough to work with the dream team at Miss Bush and help create yet another one of their fabulous bridal events. What I love so much about these events is that Emma and the team really do think outside the box. We welcomed all brides and with this particular event, Mothers, Mother-in-law, Grandmothers or those close to them to bring you to a place of inspiration. To welcome you with open arms and experience an evening in the chapel that makes you want to come back. With a team of expert panels sharing their love and and expertise in all they do!

The brief for the Summer Bridal Event

In the world of crystal healing, Citrine is a pure yellow rock that channels the power of the sun. It awakens creativity and imagination. Warm comforting and energizing, Citrine is also said to relieve fear and anxiety.

As our inspiration for the evening we were harnessing the power of the crystal.

Citrine is said to hold the power to transform dreams and wishes into tangible form. Gorgeous, twinkling dresses, astounding florals, fabulous cocktails and clever canapes, wrapped round their ever-present colour palette of yellow, to help supercharge your wedding planning and design.

The Expert Panel

The Miss Bush squad of experts were on hand to answer wedding planning, styling and logistics questions banishing wedding nightmares for good!

With sparkling new collections from Eliza Jane Howell looking so pretty. Gill Harvey also brought along her occasion wear collection alongside stunning head wear from milliner Joanne Edwards. The room was completely buzzing alongside Hair Stylist Sharon Roberts who gave mini hair trails and makeup artist Carolanne Armstrong who gave lots of makeup and beauty advice.

Miss Bush had a few dresses to show and the fabulous models Chloe Keenan and Debs Kidd looked stunning.

Miss Clemmie created a one of piece for Miss Bush brides to see. Miss Clemmie is a Accessories Design Studio based in Northamptonshire England. With a focus on designing modern brides something a little bit 'heirloom' to complete their wedding day look, from Statement Headdresses, combs and hairpins to stylish Jewellery. Each piece is designed and made by Clemmie.

We had a beautiful garden wall creation of blooms in signature Miss Bush yellow themed designs from Mad Lilies. Our styling was complimented with themed canapes from the team at Four Gables.

For the canapes station we were limited on space so after a visit to an aladdins cave. Also known at Louisa Grace Interiors I spotted a piece of furniture that I knew would look just perfect. This dresser had a beautiful yellow marble top and created the perfect look for the canapes.

Outdoor Garden Bar

We were blessed with the weather so created a cocktail bar by Tattams in the garden. It worked so well against the outdoor garden wall of blooms that Mad Lilies created. It made a great entrance for all our guests as they sipped on a delicious signature Miss Bush cocktail (yellow of course!)

Electric Swing

A great addition to the evening was Stef from Spin Sisters. Spin Sisters are a great team of female DJ's who created a great playlist. Moving away from clichéd classics, a Miss Bush playlist with electric swing set the perfect vibe for the night.

Collaboration - Team Work

You may have seen that I am often seen working with great teams as part of a collaboration. Great relationships are key in any business and without supportive, trustworthy and professional suppliers, my job would be so much harder. Keep your eyes peeled for the next industry event I am involved with coming to you in September.

A big shout out to Hayley Bray Photography and Ash Videography as without them we wouldn't be able to share this fabulous event and they captured it so well as always - superstars!

Fabulous graphics as always from Leah Spicer and calligraphy from One Craft Bird.

I am grateful to work with and know so many fabulous suppliers so thank you to each and every one of you! X
