Quintessentially English at Loseley Park

Weddings are on their return and what better way to celebrate with a collaboration at the stunning Loseley Park and some fabulous wedding suppliers. With the some what reduced number of weddings and events for the last 15 months, I wanted to create a vision and celebration of all things British (oh, and the fact Susie Evans Wedding Co. is celebrating 10 years of planning weddings this month!).

SURREY WEDDING PLANNER AT LOSELEY PARK

Susie Evans Wedding Co. has been planning weddings in Surrey for 10 years and our couples tend to celebrate either at their family home in a marquee or at a venue such as Loseley Park with a marquee on the front lawn with the backdrop of Loseley House. The gardens are simply stunning and make a perfect location for a champagne reception and a photographers dream!

When bringing this concept together, it was important that the focus was influenced by all things British from the flowers, to the car and not forgetting the history of Loseley House and gardens.

SUSTAINABILITY AND BRITISH FLOWERS

Whilst this image may look like a scene from Romeo and Juliet, it is in fact the team at Floribunda Rose and Mad Lilies. With our nod to all things British it was great to work with the floral queens of large structures with the focus being on sustainability. All our structures were foam free and the lush foliage including Silver Birch, Red Robin, Hazel and White Leaf were all British grown.

ENGLISH COUNTRY WEDDING AT LOSELEY PARK

Our weddings will always feature an abundance of gorgeous floral designs with natural textures, seasonal flowers and a focus on sustainability where possible. We are influenced heavily by British grown flowers when in season and having the stunning gardens at Loseley make it the perfect marquee wedding venue for our couples. The walled garden covers 2.5 acres and is divided into ‘rooms’ each with it’s own unique planting scheme and personality including the rose garden, the flower garden, the white garden, the herb garden, the organic vegetable garden and not forgetting the wildflower meadow.

BRITISH BRIDAL DESIGNER - Suzanne Neville

Working with The Pantiles Bride in Royal Tunbridge Wells we chose a gorgeous bridal dress from British designer Suzanne Neville. The gorgeous Admire dress is from the 2021 Modern Love Collection. With its modern clean lines and classic elegance, it was a perfect collaboration with our overall concept of the shoot.

To finish off the overall look, we sourced a stunning E Class Jag in the gorgeous blue tone that worked perfectly against the backdrop of Loseley House and the pops of pink from the floral designs.
