Planning Your UK Wedding from the USA
Why an English Wedding Planner Makes All the Difference
Planning a wedding abroad is incredibly exciting but it can also feel overwhelming, particularly when you’re navigating time zones, unfamiliar venues and vendors, and the nuances of how weddings are planned in another country.
Around 75% of the couples I work with are based in the United States and travel to the UK for their wedding. Often, there’s a meaningful connection to England: one or both partners may be British, spent part of their childhood here, or simply feel drawn to the charm, history and elegance that British weddings offer. I’ve planned weddings for couples travelling from New York, Washington, Alabama, Florida and even as far as Bermuda – all choosing England as the place to celebrate with family and friends.

Your UK Expert, On the Ground
When you’re planning from overseas, having a planner who is physically based in the UK makes an enormous difference. I act as my couples’ eyes, ears and advocate on the ground from visiting venues, meeting vendors, overseeing logistics and handling the countless details that simply aren’t possible to manage from afar.
Because I specialise in luxury weddings and marquee celebrations at private homes and estates as well as exclusive use venues over multi-days, I understand how to design and deliver complex events that require extensive infrastructure, thoughtful guest experience and seamless coordination.
From the very beginning, I become your single point of contact in the UK, managing every moving part so you don’t have to juggle multiple suppliers across different time zones.
Unrivalled Knowledge of UK Venues and Suppliers
One of the greatest benefits of working with an English wedding planner is access to trusted relationships and deep local knowledge.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of planning weddings at some of the UK’s most iconic and beautiful venues, including:
The Natural History Museum, London
Cowdray House, West Sussex
St Giles House, Dorset
Euridge Manor, Wiltshire
Cliveden House, Berkshire
In addition to established venues, I regularly work at private family homes, estates and rural settings where marquees are brought in to create something entirely bespoke.
I know which venues truly deliver, which vendors excel at destination weddings, and how to assemble the right team for your specific vision. This experience is invaluable when you’re planning from abroad and want complete confidence in the people you’re trusting with your wedding.
Seamless Planning Across Time Zones
Planning a UK wedding while living in the USA requires flexibility and that’s something I prioritise wholeheartedly.
Because I intentionally take on a very limited number of weddings each year, I’m able to offer a highly personal, hands-on service. This means accommodating evening Zoom calls, early morning check-ins, and weekend planning sessions to suit your schedule. Many of my couples are balancing demanding careers alongside wedding planning, and my role is to make the process feel calm, organised and enjoyable.
No matter where you are in the world, you’ll feel fully supported and consistently informed.

A Calm, Trusted Presence You Can Rely On
For couples planning from overseas, trust is everything. I see my role as far more than a planner. I’m your sounding board, problem-solver and cheerleader here in the UK – someone who is completely invested in your wedding and fiercely committed to making it exceptional.
From navigating British wedding traditions and logistics to managing suppliers, timelines and guest experience, my aim is always the same: to ensure you feel confident, reassured and excited throughout the journey.
Weddings Across the UK and Beyond
While many of my weddings take place in England, I plan celebrations across the UK and beyond, including Wales, Scotland, Ireland, and the Channel Islands of Guernsey and Jersey.
Wherever you choose to marry, my approach remains consistent: thoughtful planning, impeccable organisation and a deeply personal service tailored entirely to you.
